To reinstall Cydia on iOS 5.1.1, you usually do not need to restore your device. You can run the original jailbreak tool you used, such as Absinthe or redsn0w, and select the option to install Cydia. Alternatively, if you have an SSH client or a file manager like iFile installed, you can manually install the Cydia deb file. If those methods are not available, re-running the jailbreak process over your existing installation is often the simplest fix. Make sure to back up your data before attempting any jailbreak modifications.
