I am using an iPhone 4 with iOS 5.1.1 and custom firmware baseband 3.10.01. I hacktivated the device using redsn0w because I lacked the original SIM card, but now iMessage, FaceTime, and push notifications are not working. Since SAM is no longer functional for this purpose, is there a reliable method to fix these services on a hacktivated iPhone?

To fix push notifications, iMessage, and FaceTime on a hacktivated iPhone 4 running iOS 5.1.1, the most effective solution is to activate the device officially using a valid SIM card. Hacktivation skips the creation of necessary certificates on Apple servers, which causes these services to fail. If you can obtain a SIM card from the carrier the phone is locked to, even an inactive one, you can use it to activate the device via iTunes. Alternatively, you can look for legacy Cydia tweaks designed for certificate injection, although many of these services have gone offline over time. The most stable method remains using a physical SIM card for a one-time activation to ensure the device receives a unique push token from Apple.
