Cómo Liberar el iPhone 3G

Aquí están las instrucciones de cómo liberar el iPhone 3G para usarlo con cualquier operador telefónico.

Antes de seguir las instrucciones necesitas tener un iPhone con 'jailbreak' y debes tener la versión de baseband 02.28.00 (modem firmware). Esto significa que necesitas tener el firmware 2.2 en tu iPhone o haber usado PwnageTool (NO QUICKPWN) para instalar la 2.2.1 sin actualizar la baseband.

Para saber que versiones de firmware y modem firmware (baseband) tienes puedes seguir este tutorial. Si no tienes la versión 02.28.00 de baseband entonces necesitas seguir uno de estos tutoriales antes de liberarlo: Mac, Windows

Paso Uno
Presiona para ejecutar Cydia Installer en tu SpringBoard.

Paso Dos
Presiona Manage en la parte inferior de la pantalla.

Paso Tres
Presiona el botón grande de Sources.

Paso Cuatro
Presiona el botón Edit en la parte superior derecha de la pantalla.

Paso Cinco
Presiona el botón Add en la parte superior izquierda de la pantalla.

Paso Seis
Introduce http://apt9.yellowsn0w.com/ como 'source url' y presiona el botón Add Source.

Paso Siete
Cuando la 'source' haya sido introducida presiona el botón grande de Return to Cydia.

Paso Ocho
Presiona el botón Done en la parte superior derecha.

Paso Nueve
Presiona apt9.yellowsn0w.com de la lista de 'sources' introducidas por el usuario.

Paso Diez
Presiona yellowsn0w de la lista de paquetes.

Paso Once
Presiona el botón Install en la parte superior derecha de la pantalla.

Paso Doce
Presiona el botón Confirm en la parte superior derecha de la pantalla.

Paso Trece
Cuando la instalación haya terminado correctamente presiona el botón grande Return to Cydia.

Paso Catorce
Ahora aprieta el botón Home , apaga el iPhone y vuelve a encenderlo. Para hacer esto mantén apretado el botón de encendido 3 segundos y desliza el 'slider' que aparece hacia la derecha. Aprieta nuevamente el botón de encendido para encender el iPhone.

Paso Quince
¡Ahora deberías de poder introducir la tarjeta SIM que prefieras!

***CONSEJOS: Parece ser que si apagas el 3G y supuestamente encendiendo y apagando el modo avión ayuda a tu iPhone a coger la nueva operadora. Si sigues teniendo problemas prueba a quitar y volver a meter la SIM o encender el iPhone con la nueva SIM ya dentro. Finalmente puedes probar a resetear los ajustes de red en Ajustes->General->Restaurar

***IMPORTANTE: Para los que tengais problemas. La aplicación yellowsn0w puede ser simplemente desinstalada. Si has probado todos los consejos y sigues teniendo problemas simplemente usa Cydia para eliminar el paquete y después reinicia. Tendrás servicio entonces con tu operadora sin liberar como siempre..

OK GUYS THE WAIT IS OVER ITUNES HAS 4.2 FOR THE PUBLIC NOW OPEN ITUNES TO UPDATE AND THE UNLOCK WILL BE HERE AT 1PM TODAY

I jailbroke and unlocked my 3G to use on the T-Mobile network and it is working fine. The only thing is that prior to jailbreaking and unlocking it, you were able to send pictures in text messages. Once I unlocked it however, the icon button to "add a picture" into the message no longer appears. Anyone have any ideas? Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks is advance!

Hi, I´m trying to jailbrak my Iphone 3Gbut I can´t download (under source) apt9.yellowsn0w.com. The message it gives: Sub-process /bin/bzip2 returned an error code (2) FW 2.2 is installed. I also have restarted the phone several times, but no change. Is it possible that the provider (Tmobile) has to do something with the problem? What can I do to solve this problem? Do you have any idea or alternatives..? thanks! Hallo, bin gerade dabei mein Iphone 3G zu jailbreaken kann aber mit Cydia unter Hinzufügung der Quelle: apt9.yellowsn0w.com die datei nicht runterladen. this method did not work for me. I have iPhone3G. I just got a blank screen. I did get it unlocked at http://how-to-unlock-your-iphone.blogspot.com/ it took about 5 minutes to unlock my iphone.

Ive gotten as far as updating the sources. It says downloading packages at the bottom of the screen, the blue bar is completely filled but it froze right then and there... any ideas here?

Hi guys, Downgraded baseband, jailbroken, unlocked Everything worked great!!!! It tool me quite a lot of reboot and airplane mode to get it to recognize the new sim but now it works like a charm Thank you guys

I bought iphone from at&t network,2.1 firmwareunlocked with turbosim in indianow I did jailbroking using quickpwn(windows user) firmware 2.2 basenand 2.30..now when I inserted my Indian sim card(airtel without 3g service)..it did not work.please help..my iphone is just PAPER WEIGHT now
