HungrySeacow Software has announced the release and immediate availability of YummySoup! 2, a major update to their popular recipe management application for Mac OS X. YummySoup! 2 is a complete re-write over version 1, including the features that has made it popular like the visual browser and web importer, but also introduces brand new features such as Recipecasts, Keywords, Themes, and more.
Themes: Viewing recipes has never looked more stunning than in YummySoup! 2; custom designed recipe themes add a certain degree of uniqueness to the user interface. The themes are easily selected simply by toggling the Themes selector (by pressing Command T). You can also take full advantage of these themes when you share your recipes with friends, as they can be selected for emails, as well as prints in a variety of common paper sizes and types.
Recipecast: Recipecast is a brand new feature in YummySoup! 2, allowing you to publish whole groups of recipes to your MobileMe account. This allows you to share these recipes with anyone that uses YummySoup!. Recipecasts automatically refresh for subscribers if you make any changes to the recipes contained within it. Alternatively, if you subscribe to a Recipecast, you may make a recipe part of your permanent library using drag-and-drop, and it will still receive updates to changes if you prefer. (Please note, you are not required to have a MobileMe account to subscribe to Recipecasts, only to publish them).
Weekly Planner: The weekly planner gives you the ability to drag-and-drop recipes to calendar days, all within the same window, adding to the list of reasons why YummySoup! is the best way to keep your cooking organized. You can add notes to particular days (to remember that day is a special event, etc.).
Same Great Features, Re-worked for Version 2: The visual browser and web importer have received substantial updates including tweaks to the user experience with these features.
Pricing and Availability: YummySoup! 2 sells for $30 (USD), but users who previously purchased version 1 can upgrade for just $10. For more information about YummySoup!, visit HungrySeacow Software online or contact Ken Humbard.
