App Popular has announced the release of App Popular Recommendations 4.0, available as a free download exclusively from the iTunes App Store. The new version lets users access a daily "stream" of personal iPhone iOS app recommendations. By simply "liking" 5 or more of their favorite apps, users receive day-to-day custom app suggestions. They are encouraged to add these apps to their "want" list to receive free price change alerts via push notification messaging. Users may further "like" or "dislike" apps they purchase from their "Apps I Want" list, thereby seamlessly fueling additional recommendations.

Version 4.0 also offers an alternative hybrid search engine that complements the normal App Store search results. App Popular Recommendations lets users easily browse any of the world's 77 App Stores by country and category, and includes social networking utilities to share apps via email, Facebook and Twitter. It offers default app lists to help users find other apps and save money: "Apps I Like", "Apps I Don't Like" and "Apps I Want".
