This release of Space Battle is the latest offering in the Space Battle app family, preceded by the Lite and HD versions of this block puzzle game. Space Battle can be played alone without any special equipment, or with two players, using Apple's Bluetooth game kit.

Space Battle 1.1.0 is the latest block puzzle, speed and strategy game from Personal Applets. This launch rounds out the Space Battle family, which already offers Space Battle HD for iPad and Space Battle Lite (free) for iPhone and iPod touch users.

Pile blocks of various shapes into columns. Manage to fill a column and all blocks move a step to the right. You win when you reach the right-side of the field. This can be tricky business when an opponent is trying to reach the left side of the playing field! In addition to blocks that are called matter, players are able to use anti-matter blocks and neutrinos to destroy other blocks that are in the way or to fill holes that are unreachable by the regular moving of blocks.


In addition to great gameplay, Space Battle offers some pretty terrific graphics and sound effects, along with good background music to complete the satisfying game experience. And if you prefer different music, you can select from your own library. Space Battle is the perfect game to pick up when you have a few minutes. But, be careful, once you play one game, you may want to improve OpenFeint's global leaderboards or your friend's highscores.
