Nulana has announced the release of NuKit 1.1, an update to their productivity and timesaving toolkit for Mac OS X. NuKit is a kit of utilities to extend the usability of Mac OS X. It combines launcher, shortcuts, tweaker, advanced calculator, window mover, real zoom and real close. It is typical for Mac users to purchase multiple different applications for these purposes, but NuKit is offered as single easy-to-use and integrated toolkit, that is continuously increasing its functionality.
New in NuKit 1.1: Launcher became faster. As well, it's possible to search applications with some kind of acronyms, e.g. qtp for QuickTime Player, oo for Open Office, vb for VirtualBox, and so on. Theres another new launch panel feature it finds entered words in the Dictionary.
Now its possible to assign shortcuts not only to applications, but also to URLs, system actions, opening files, running shell commands and AppleScripts. Just a few keys are pressed and NuKit turns the volume up or down, reboots a Mac or switches it off. And finally, NuKit was created as an easy-to-setup and easy-to-use application. It includes detailed Help, just in case. There's also a short video about NuKit features.
Language Support: * US English, French, German, Russian and Spanish
Pricing and Availability: NuKit is $19.99 (USD) for all users. Please see the Nulana web site for video, screenshots and additional information.
