Gorillaz to Drop iPad Album on Christmas Day

The new Gorillaz album recorded entirely on the iPad will be released free on Christmas Day, according to The Courier-Mail.

Damon recorded the album entirely on his trusty iPad while on last month's US tour. A video for one of the new songs will be released on Christmas Eve, with the album to follow the next day.

Damon wants it known that the music was recorded entirely on the tablet device without the assistance of any traditional studio equipment.


"I wanted to make sure that it came out at the end of the tour because I don't want anyone to think I'd tampered with it," he said.
