Peter Hajas the developer behind MobileNotifier is now an employee at Apple, according to MacRumors.
Rumors that this might be case began after Hajas announced that he would cease working on MobileNotifier but couldn't say why. Hajas also ended his post with 'stay hungry and stay foolish', the same words that Steve Jobs used to end his 2005 Stanford Commencement Address.
RedmondPie has since discovered a (now deleted) Tweet posted in early May by Hajas saying that he would be heading off to work in California at a "fruit" company. Meanwhile, we've also independently confirmed that Hajas is now an employee at Apple.

Has anyone tried NotifiedPro in Cydia? This is superior to Mobilenotifier in _every_ single way. Why is macrumors so determined to advertise Mobilenotifier?
