AT&T documents leaked by the Lulzsec hackers reveal what AT&T plans to charge for its LTE data packages, reports iFans.
There will be three plans. They will cost $30, $60, and $80. The data caps go from 5, 10, and 20 GB, respectively, though it seems to be significantly more complicated beyond that. For example, there are postpaid "speed boosts," which do just what the name suggests: give your plan additional speed, instead of data. We even have information on prepaid plans.
The document they were taken from was published in November of 2009. The $30 plan offers a downlink of 7.0Mbps, the $60 plan offers 9Mbps, and the $80 plan offers 12Mbps. You can checkout the full plan details in the screenshots below...
Haha, here in Sweden the mobile broadband is much faster and cheaper ;)
Up to 80 Mbit/s (usually about 20-40) and unlimited data for ~60$/month or
Up to 16 Mbit/s and unlimited data for ~35$/month or
Up to 6 Mbit/s and 1 GB data for ~12$/month
Cheers from Sweden ;)
So what happens to those of us who currently have the unlimited data plan. Does that carry over or are we forced to change our plans? Cause that would be some serious bullshit. Just saying.
AT&T is becoming more & more of a monster. I currently have unlimited data with them. But was notified if I continue to use tethering my unlimited plan will be changed to a $45 limited plan.
