I had jailbroken my ipod touch, customized it and everything, and then I downloaded the 2.0 software. Little did I know that I would lose everything. So I Pwned my ipod touch once again and kinda customized it. Yesterday I wanted to customize is further, but Cydia was no where to be found on my ipod!! Can someone please tell me what happened? I have the most current itunes. Did they put something in that to take it away??

OK, so application size and contact already displayed correctly, but now uninstall with RemovePath is not working!

it's more than that I have wasted over 30 hours last week restoring why say cydia or installer is working ok when it clearly is not that I I wanted to say why put apps on like air horn that crashes phone straight away it's not that hard to test it before release

Okay I like installer but how can I go back to the first beta??? This 5th release has now given me no way to delete apps on my iphone. Anyone else having this problem?

I agree, I think we need to just appreciate the time and effort going into this. The only reason we are doing thi is to be different or ahead of the curve. So I personally would hold off on the bitching for now, especially when its still in beta. Its not final so maybe you should wait till it is and then install it. For now i can deal with the hiccups to sport this new shit. Great work guys!! Keep it up.

I am french use and AGREE on totality with the most comment's i can see today and Specialy with this new version of INTALLER : Even is is a BETA = that new version SHIT , bug..... When you refresh manualy that's block completly the Iphone !! We are tired to be taking of like "cobay's"....and forced to be Beta_Shits testers, we ARE NOT ! So if any rip_dev read that message = Please guy's STOP that shit....and perform & test your tools before you launch thems....it's a ton of Iphones users you make trouble !! Regards, Eddy

Man, I get tired of seeing in ALL of the forums and comments how crappy Cydia and Installer (and WinPwn, Pwnage, etc.) are! I've been using both since they each were released way back when, and I use both today. I, too, have restored my iPhone more than once due to software I chose to install. But that's just it - I CHOSE TO INSTALL IT! If you don't want to deal with the risks these types of programs present, then just use your iPhone with the software it came with. The App Store has problems, too, so I can't even say "just stick with Apple-approved stuff". These people spend a ton of time AS A HOBBY creating this FREE software for all of the Haters to cry about. There are a ton of us out here that use the stuff and don't whine that "Installer is sh!t" or "Cydia sucks" everytime we face an issue. Yes, even if that issue is a full restore of the phone. By all means, tell us about issues and problems that you experience. Even give suggestions to the developers and the rest of the community on what enhancements you'd like to see or which applications you useful or buggy. But please stop discounting people's hard work by labeling their software as excrement. (BTW, I'm typing this while iTunes puts all the data back on my pwned iPhone after a full restore due to a program I uninstalled from Cydia left my phone unbootable. And I still installed BOTH Cydia and Installer with my custom firmware.)

This is the worst piece of code I've seen so far on iphone, give us a break and start using cydia. I mean you can't even scroll through the packages without freezing the whole thing and why do the tasks increase during scrolling? Its not like i want to install anything!!!!!!!!
