Macopoulos I tried your solution and man I wished it was a viable option. A few issues, no stereo (the phone option is mono tone only), the reboot is not convenient and when a new call comes in the phone went bonkers and I had to reboot. Additionally the other A2DP device options are not present (controlling the player from the headset). It is however the closet you can get at the moment. Thanks. And Chris, the answer is no, you can't sync a bluetooth keyboard, only the audio capabilities. I tried that as well. Wouldn't it be nice to have that as well as wireless sync. Dreams.

But my "workaround" works.. why not use it.. it seams that it's a hassle for Apple to embed it, so.. "workaround" it! ;)

For anyone thinking of going down this road so you can finally use that bluetooth headset you own, some words of advice: 1. This is a wicked draw on your battery despite the fact that the unit has its own power 2. having the attachment means you cant just put your device in your pocket and go, the extra protruding part is a problem and you have to be careful with it, you don't want to damage the port on your phone. 3. You'll find that the distance from the device will be an issue. 4. You now have 3 devices to charge just to enjoy the pleasure of no wires. . COME ON APPLE, A2DP please! Doing these workarounds is simply not worth it, I've been down this road, its simply not practical and just down right annoying, I now have more hardware sitting on my shelf.

Nice.. but i can do it for free!! :) A paring must be already set. You just go and dial *#307# and then answer the virtual call, don't hung up just hit the home button and try playing a song on mobileplayer! ;) That's it it works! But there is a draw back.. you must then reboot your iphone cause it does an infinite call-loop! Nice?
