Apple has begun censoring the word jailbreak in the iTunes Store and App Store.

The change was first noticed by @planetbeing and retweeted by @musclenerd.

Whoa...when did Apple start blocking the word "jailbreak" in iTunes listings?


The word is censored in the iTunes Store (U.S.A.) but has not yet made its way to international stores.

I agree, this is LAME. Instead of stopping people from mentioning the phrase, now EVERYONE is going to be talking about it. I can imagine the Tonight Show Dialogue already. How about David Letterman's "Top Ten reasons why Apple is full of shit!"
