Dude My 4S is still on 5.1.1 Jailbroken.I wont update it until the IOS jailbreak is stable.
I have an iPhone 5 on 6.1 it is unstable freezes all the time..specially the Lockinfo and blacklist horrible .Safe mode all the time
On the other hand my 4S everything works.
My wifi, my 3G,all Apps work.
I won't update my 4S until all my apps are outdated .
I used to have my 3G on 3.0 forever .
If it works I don't update..better resell value too.

Just stick to what is stable, bug free, doesn't kill battery life, no too crap features, with the exception of those aren't capable of running/downgrading 5.1.1 all the way... If you have a device running 6.x.x + then just bear with it...

I think android fanboys have invaded iclarified. So much hate out there.. Ios6 is a great software, easy to use. They see problem and they try to solve it by updates. That's normal and nothing to shame of it. About JB, it is the best way to achive new goals, new designs and tricks to both developers and users to future ios'. I see no problem here...

I doubt Apple is going to patch the jailbreak in any quick updates, Because these quick updates actually address serious security concerns. And they know jailbroke phones will not upgrade to it. Evasi0ns Exploit is what's known as a kernel panic Which are incredibly difficult to patch, I believe they might have a plan for 6x to iOS 7 it's very possible. When Apple closes One Path they could find a new one by fuzzing a few files

he is right it's really easy for Apple to patch a jailbreak and in the eyes of Apple it's a security risk not patching it because its a way in for a virus especially now that hackers can look at the jailbreak for the way in, that's why jailbroken devices are safer because after jail braking the jailbreak patches the hole.

I wish Apple would put out quality software the first time instead of garbage that requires quick fix updates.

why would you want 6.1.1 for an iPod? it's a fix for 3G something iPods don't have.

Source to confirm this? I have not seen anywhere that says this Jailbreak will work for all future versions of iOS 6.x?
Surely its possible for Apple to patch the exploits before iOS 7 and its expected that they will at some point.

"All a plot to screw with jb?" Of course apple will patch the jailbreak! Apple's done that with every single version since iOS 1! Their thinking is that since it involves an exploit in the OS, they should patch it for security reasons.
