
Swype Confirms Discussions With Apple Over Keyboard Technology

Swype Vice President Aaron Sheedy confirms that they've had talks with Apple over their keyboard that lets you type on a touchscreen using one continuous motion across the screen.
iFans via 9to5Mac notes that Sheedy confirmed discussions with Apple in a reddit AMA.

Q: I was curious as to whether you’ve ever had any contact with Apple. Any conversations to see if they might have been interested in licensing your technology?
A: Hah. The million (ok billion) $ questions. Yes, we have chatted with them, they are very smart and nice.

Swype is now owned by Nuance and was released for Android two days ago.
