Aquafadas Announces myComics 1.1

Aquafadas has announced the immediate avaibility of myComics 1.1, its iPhone and iPod Touch application to read comic archives.
The new 1.1 version of myComics lets view PDF, CBZ, CBR, ZIP files as well as the upcoming ZAVE format (introduced by Ave!Comics). This new version makes it very easy to optimize CBR, CBZ and ZIP files and send them to your iPhone and iPod Touch using a new companion application : Jivaro.
Simply drag and drop entire collections of comic archives on Jivaro to optimize them and send them in bulk to myComics running on your iPhone/iPod Touch. The processing speed of the files is 10 to 20x faster than with the previous method of uploading. Jivaro is available as a free download for both MacOS and Windows.
myComics 1.1 also comes with:
- new simplified method for sending files to the application (even without Jivaro). No account is needed anymore.
- a Bonjour service that can be connected to from Safari. No need to create a computer to computer network anymore.
- better connectivity in the presence of proxies and firewalls
- new help pages are included to explain everything about connectivity
- minor fixes for the stability
