Apple has seeded a new build of OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.5 to developers for testing. The build number is 12F36. The previous build was 12F33 and was seeded a month ago. It was widely expectedthat the 10.8.5 would be released last week after select partners received a pre-release build 12F35.
The rumored 12F35 build reportedly included the following changes:
● Fixes an issue that may prevent Mail from displaying messages ● Improves AFP file transfer performance over 802.11ac Wi-Fi ● Resolves an issue that may prevent a screen saver from starting automatically ● Improves Xsan reliability
No word on what improvements or changes have been made in this build . Apple has previously indicated that developers should focus on Wi-Fi , Graphics, Wake from Sleep, PDF viewing and Accessibility and Mobile Device Management.
A new Safari Beta was also pushed out today to developers as well.
