I have always been a Android guy, but I must admit that Apple always has been more snappy. My GF's iPhone 4S reacts way faster than my Galaxy S4. Disappointing I must say.

You're saying apple is snappy yet they won awards for a reason, if you are jealous, switch already, iPhone has and does more! I used the galacrap, never again!

I don't want to switch because of the screen size, and the fact that I bought many apps for android. Just because iPhone is faster in reaction time, doesn't make me want it, just hope that android phones will follow in the future. The freedom of an android phone is more important to me ;)

Well iphone 6 will be bigger this time since only picky sheeps who just want a bigger screen for a phone worry only about that and not specs!

Reading the responses I would think the average mind would be the limiting factor anyway...

Now, I know why I can type faster on iphone than any other android phone even with bigger screens! I switched to bigger screen phones a few times and no matter what phone I switched to, what keyboard apps I installed, I still cannot type as fast as on a smaller screen iphone! That bugged me that I switched back to iphone a few times even though it has smaller screen!

I used is, not one problem at all, have you tried sideway typing or Bluetooth keyboards or voice search all with iPhone?

I've had the iPhone since the 2G and I could always tell Android screens were less sensitive. It's good to see it in numbers. iPhone screens are also more accurate if you want to point and click in a small/exact area as well.

And the 5s, with its much faster A7 processor (the 64-bit part may also play a part, perhaps even a significant one, as far as this test is concerned) will beat to a pulp the competition to an even greater extent. There is a video (google) that outlines the HUGE difference it makes, too, between 100ms vs. 50ms vs. hopefully soon 10ms and another big deal can be felt vs. 1ms. You can have an OCTAcore CPU with 3GB of RAM that will feel like a single-core CPU at 100MHz. Guess what, the iPhone 5 has 1GB of RAM and so does the 5s! Still dual-core, and still WAY MORE RESPONSIVE than every quad-core 2+GHz from the Android piss camp.

Do you feel better now? Knowing your phone touch screen is faster :)

haha just a faster touch screen does not mean you will be able to play latest games and music and do 100 other things besides calling like an Android device.
