24x7digital has announced Aw Craps! 1.3, an update to their popular casino game for iPhone and iPod Touch. Designed specifically to leverage the iPhone's unique abilities and interface, Aw Craps! lets anyone experience the thrill and excitement of casino craps. Aw Craps! was designed to look and play just like casino craps. With ease of use in mind, Aw Craps! sports unique dice rolling; the user controls the direction and strength of the throw, and helps set it apart from other craps games. The chips and table areas were made as large as possible to make controlling the game as easy as possible. Version 1.3 offers many new features. Aw Craps! now features 55 new and different audio Stick Calls which are played after every dice roll. (A "stick call" is what the person with the stick says when s/he sees the dice land on a certain number.) To place multiple bets that are common in craps, C E, 3-way craps, Horn, Inside/Outside/Across place bets are now supported. These are all multiple bets, comprising of different single bets.


The chips are large to tap when selecting them and once placed on the board chips shrink to conserve space. Currently supported bets in Aw Craps! are: pass line, pass line odds, don't pass, don't pass odds, come, come odds, don't come, don't come odds, place, buy, lay, field, big 6, big 8, any seven, any craps, the hardways, one time 2, 3, 11 (yo), 12 and C E, 3-way craps, horn, and inside/outside/across place bets. Supported table odds include 1X, 2X, 3X, 3-4-5X, 5X, 10X, 20X, 100X, and table limits of $1 to $1000, $5-$5000, and $25-$25000.

In Aw Craps!, users select their chips, and then tap the area of the board to place the bet on. If the area only takes one type of bet, chips will just be moved to that area for them automatically. A window will appear showing bet choices (Place/Lay/Buy whatever). Aw Craps! features tacit feedback from the dealer like a real casino game as well. Just like telling the dealer verbally, once the type of bet is chosen, Aw Craps! moves the chips to the correct area. If a bet with the wrong increment of chips is placed, there is also a "Dealer Says" area where gamers can read messages from the dealer.

Gamers can see the odds bets will pay, other infomation about existing and available bets, as well as bets that are unavailable and why. And Aw Craps! pays winners just like in the casino too. The dealer will put winnings next to the original bet and sometimes move the original bet first. Winners simply pick up their chips by tapping them.
