this really shows what morons are they. not only they should actually repay to loyal customers but they have no idea what new plan to introduce. But ok ... the more stupid ATT the more more money for Rebel, Gever and other opeartors. Last time I called their customer services some obnoxious obviously fat woman answered that barely spoke language yet had nerve to tell me she does not understand me. With moronish companies like ATT I really not surprised US economy went into recession.

I've had nothing but pleasant experiences with AT&T and have spoke with all American and easy to understand people. The economy didn't go into recession by bad customer service, it went into recession because people spent beyond their means. The government made it so that anybody, even a 5 year old, could purchase a house, and lets not forget to mention fannie mae and freddie mac, they were a major cause of this too. Just because you don't like a company and the company maybe isn't run the way you want them to be, doesn't mean every company in the US is the same and is the cause of the recession.

very good maybe instead of making plan that actually work for customers you can stuff in more stories like this during lunch break. With morons at management that might even keep you working at ATT longer or at least you get a deal in June

I don't work for AT&T. I had Verizon for 8 years and the only reason I switched to AT&T was for the iPhone. Since I've switched I've only had a couple problems which all revolved around 3G. As far as the plan goes, I think the pricing is too high and I'll be very happy if they switch it back down. The main point though, is that they aren't forcing you to go out and get their service, it's your choice. I know a ton of people that would love to get the iPhone, but they don't want to leave Verizon, its personal choice that keeps them there. If you don't like AT&T that much, maybe you should look into unlocking your iPhone and moving to a different carrier.

ok, now your just being RUDE! i mean, he's right, it wasn't bad customer service at all that did this to America! if that were the case i'm sure AT&T would have been one of the first to close it's doors! while i DO have complaints with AT&T it is MY choice to stay with the company, no one forces me to do that, it's my decision! All he was doing was stating facts that you apparently had mixed up! don't be so rude, that's what's wrong with all these forums today!
Ramses - May 18, 2009 at 2:36pm
no what is wrong with forums is that att employees should not post here i am shocked how attitude towards customers, work ethics gets worse and worse in the US but use forums to praise own employer that is just outrageous
Nick - May 18, 2009 at 2:45pm
I like how you think that if anybody posts positive about a company they must work for them. I also like the fact that since you've had a bad experience you believe everybody that is a customer of that specific company has also had a bad experience. Anyways, I'm not going to waste anymore of my time on you, as you can't understand anything sensibly. So I hope AT&T continues to give you bad service. P.S. you should work on your own english before you speak of how you can't understand their customer service.
Eric - May 18, 2009 at 2:57pm
"you should work on your own english".. i wasn't going to say it, glad you did... lol and you're right.. just because someone defends a company doesn't mean they MUST work there, sometimes people are just satisfied with said company and let other forum readers know about their experiences with said company! i'll say til the day i die that Popeye's Chicken has to be some of the BEST chicken i've ever eaten, that would be MY opinion, i SURELY don't work there though!
Ramses - May 18, 2009 at 2:58pm
and i do not like how you not think and argument about my english even further proves my point ps. you do not have to work on your brain b/c it is pointless
Eric - May 18, 2009 at 3:01pm
*rolls eyes* yeah, ANYWAY.. hopefully they will drop the pricing a bit! that would make me happy, it would actually almost make up for ALL the complaints i've had with them in the past! :) i dont work there either!
Ramses - May 18, 2009 at 3:01pm
everyone who criticizes your employer /fav. company is RUDE LOL how lame yep please do not think sucker att will do for you LOL
Nick - May 18, 2009 at 3:18pm
The most expensive part for me has been the minutes, all of my friends and family have Verizon so now I have to pay more for minutes. I'm also irritated that they still haven't put 3G in the city I work in either, even though they said they were going to shortly after the iPhone 3G came out.
Ramses - May 18, 2009 at 3:21pm
maybe when you write more posts kissing bosses asses they will cut some deal ?
Nick - May 18, 2009 at 3:24pm
If that were the case I would and tell them to fix the 3G reception by my house as well. I have to turn off 3G and use Edge while I'm at my house because the reception is flaky.
Eric - May 18, 2009 at 3:31pm
yeah, that's really been the only kinda complaints i've had too, 3G! and when i've talked to people, i've been told it's going to eventually reach where i live (i live out in the WOODS), but i mean, again, i knew i would have issues with this when i bought the phone and the package, so, i can't really complain TOO much! just wish they'd hurry up on their promise to expand 3G network to all areas where i am!
Ramses - May 18, 2009 at 3:34pm
PS. and why all your family and friends are not on att ? are you saying you are the only stupid ? can't you just change family ? isn't what att advises you ?
Ramses - May 18, 2009 at 3:37pm
PPS. yep that what i afraided you guys fit certain moronish att pattern here ... buy att phone but no coverage in area LOL only moron can do this LOL do you agree ? please say no LOL
Eric - May 18, 2009 at 3:41pm
i agree that you've become a big problem on this topic and i have reported you to admins for being that way! you're ignorant if someone disagrees with you and i have no time for that! the last straw was you point blank calling someone stupid! you, sir, are exactly what's wrong with the world today!
Ramses - May 18, 2009 at 3:46pm
I am sorry Eric but sometimes when I see morons just cannot resist LOL Call me sicko if you like However please be informed that reporting somebody to admin just b/c he proved you are ... you know who again proves my point. But your behaviour is relly very typical for morons, in USSR for example if somebody disagreed with "att" was also reported or even imprisoned.
Ramses - May 18, 2009 at 3:58pm
sorry for typo Eric I realize some m..s are really sensitive about it. anyway wanted to add that by diagnosing you and your partner I did not mean to offend you It is just a fact Eric and actually not that bad as long YOU STAY WITH ATT !!!! LOL
Nick - May 18, 2009 at 11:02am
If they do actually cut the pricing for the iPhone plan, I wonder if they will also cut the prices for the people that already have the iPhone. If not, it would probably upset a ton of people......
Eric - May 18, 2009 at 11:09am
if not, i will seriously be going elsewhere (unlocking) for phone service! in MY opinion, the FIRST group of people that should get a cut are the people that have been loyal and stayed with them the last couple of years!
RaMod - May 18, 2009 at 12:01pm
If At&t is going to do this, and I think they are, well then all the subscribers r going to get the same deal. Its either you have to call them and change the plan, or u can do it online. Now if we can just get the new iPhone Pro already!!! ;)
Jeff - May 18, 2009 at 12:06pm
I Would just Rather see a bit of competition and NOT have AT&T the Sole Provider!.. First it's NOT the best service or coverage around, but this would FORCE them to be a bit more competitive.
Eric - May 18, 2009 at 12:09pm
TOTALLY agree, i personally feel the AT&T service is less than satisfactory at times! to be honest, the ONLY reason i went back to AT&T two years ago was so i could have the iPhone! two years and lots of service complaints later, i'm still here, because i TRY to do things the right way (not unlock my phone)!
Nick - May 18, 2009 at 12:10pm
I agree with you on that one Jeff. If they do lower the price to $20 a month for unlimited data usage that would be competitive though, because that is the standard rate by Verizon as well for data. As soon as Verizon comes out with their 4th Gen network, LTE, they will be able to support GSM phones so you can unlock the iPhone and use it on their network if you want. As far as the service goes, I haven't had too many problems with AT&T, but I do understand that the service for all carriers really depends on the area you are located in. That is the main reason why it does become difficult when phones are only available on a particular carrier, because some people may want the phone but that one carrier has bad coverage in their area. The new iPhone this year should be nice, but I'm more excited about the 3.0 firmware!
