With a over 400 locations worldwide, Apple Retail Stores brought in nearly $7 billion in revenue in the last quarter alone. Over 100 million people visit their stores each quarter, giving Apple the lead in the United States retail market in terms of sales per unit area.

It is impressive to see how quickly Apple has been able to scale its operations across the world, especially when you consider the first stores was opened in 2001 in Tysons Corner Center mall and in Glendale, California.
