WhatsApp Messenger Handles a Record 64 Billion Messages in 24 Hours

WhatsApp Messenger has set a new record of 64 billion messages handled in just 24 hours.

The company, which was recently acquired by Facebook, made the announcement on Twitter.


new daily record: 20B messages sent (inbound) and 44B messages received (outbound) by our users = 64B messages handled in just 24 hours.

WhatsApp Messenger is a cross platform messenger that uses your 3G or WiFi (when available) to message with friends and family. You can download it from the App Store using the link below.

I think that what's app should be for iPod touches with the iPod logo aswell as the phone logo then they will be two versions of it then.

viber was unavailable for a while in many countries, that could have been a flood of viber users trying to get their messages sent.
