Apple has been busy today releasing software updates across its products including iOS, Mac and Apple TV.
Apple TV Software Update 6.2 brings general performance and stability improvements and is recommend for all Apple TV owners (2nd and 3rd generation).
You can download the update through the software update menu in your Apple TV. You can head over to our Apple TV download links to grab the update directly as well.
iOS 7.1.2 was released today with improved iBeacon connectivity and other bug fixes. OS X Mavericks 10.9.4 was also released to the public after weeks of testing and it brought improvements to wake-from-sleep and other bug fixes.

Can you jailbreak it? Otherwise I am good with my 5.02 iOS working just perfectly fine

Good job holding out on 5.0.2! I was on 5.1.1 for a long time, but I couldn't download so many apps that these developers quit supporting. If you can get on 7.1.1 now is a good time with that Pangu jailbreak
