Apple has pulled the iOS 8.0.1 update following numerous user reports of problems with cellular service and Touch ID.

The company provided confirmation of the update rollback to Re/code's John Paczkowski.

APPLE: "We are actively investigating these reports ... In the meantime we have pulled back the iOS 8.0.1 update.”

Mass production and $$$$$ (quantity$$$ > quality) both Software and Hardware (via limiting it's capability 64 bit CPU w/ 1 gb ram? Pfft!!). Since iOS is hardlocked only to a single company apple unlike android which is an open source os and many are able to bugfix/test it before release.... So yeah, android is much more stable since a lot of company use . (Dell, HP, Samsung, Asus, Toshiba, Sony... wew too many) thank god to open source....

Android fans cannot comprehend how updates work. If problem is identified, companies should fix ASAP. Pulling the update off the shelf is the first step. Haters cannot understand cos their phones take forever to get updates and some don't even bother to try, so Android can simply ignore any faults because it has very little impact. So few actually update.
