Apple has released iTunes 12.0.1 for Mac OS X and Windows for download.
Apple hasn't posted an official change log, but we will keep you posted!
You can download the update through Software Update through your Mac, or from here You can also now update to iTunes 12 from OS X Mavericks, or download it separately.

no its not safe if yur jailbroken.i just synced my ipod 5th gen an it ruined the jailbreak forceing me to update.be aware!!!

Windows version is out, I downloaded from Apple Store, It doesn't show up when you check for update in ITunes.
