Apple has announced that it sold 39.3 million iPhones, 12.3 million iPads, 5.5 million Macs, and 2.6 million iPods last quarter.
iPhone: ● Units (thousands): 39,272 (+16% year over year) ● Revenue (millions): $23,678 (+21% year over year)
iPad: ● Units (thousands): 12,316 (-13% year over year) ● Revenue (millions): $5,316 (-14% year over year)
Mac: ● Units (thousands): 5,520 (+21% year over year) ● Revenue (millions): $6,625 (+18% year over year)
iPod: ● Units (thousands): 2,641 (-24% year over year) ● Revenue (millions): $410 (-28% year over year)

Question: If there is no more jailbreak starting from iOS 8.1 and up, will jailbreak fan (iDevice lovers) still purchase iDevice or move to other brand? Me, personally, I will move out unless they have feature of IntelliScreenx or something similar.

Iphone is very very BIG and IMPORTANT for Apple. iPad had its days of glory but nowadays in the era of phablets it's very hard to justify a tablet purchase unless it can benefit you from not depending on the laptop anymore. And that Apple knows. So the rumoured iPad Pro 12" will be the wild card for Apple next year. Let's see ......

Apple likes to mention sales figures often; it would be interesting to see statistics on returns or hardware failures as well.

It shows both good and bad results in the chart. Look at iPad sales are decreasing by huge margin. And their innovative iPad mini 3 will help this year. /s
