Catalyst has unveiled the world's first waterproof case for the Apple Watch, designed to meet or exceed IP68 standards for waterproof protection and MIL SPEC standards for drop protection.
“We are incredibly excited to bring the very first waterproof Apple Watch case to the market,” says June Lai, co-founder of Catalyst, “As a brand, we are committed to constantly inventing and launching new and innovative products. We are also thrilled to expand into making accessories for iPad with our first waterproof iPad Air case,” continues Catalyst co-founder Josh Wright.
Waterproof Apple Watch Case The first of its kind, Catalyst’s fully functional waterproof case for Apple Watch is a premium product built with style and industry-leading protection. The screen-less housing gives users unhindered access to the touchscreen and the ultra slim profile compliments Apple’s sleek design. The waterproof housing also accommodates all sensors on the underside of Apple Watch so users can access the charging connector and activity and health tracker functions, like heart rate monitoring, without removing the case. Catalyst’s signature rotating crown dial adds a pop of stylized color and functionality and each case comes with 42mm quick-release NATO nylon wrist straps.
The Catalyst waterproof Apple Watch case is available to pre-order for $59.99. It ships in November.

I've personally taken my apple watch swimming 1 hour, bathe with and it wash my hands with It on. Apple doesn't officially say its water proof, I believe to be cautious, if you find a way to magically damage it in the water... ex salt water, harsh Chemicals, that could dissolve the water resistant resin coating. Mine has functioned the same after all water exposure... Speaker needs time to dry 10 mins later it works like new
