St. Clair Software has released Default Folder X 4.3.2. This update enhances support for Mac OS 10.6 "Snow Leopard" as well as improving the "Recent Folders" feature of our award-winning utility for enhancing Open and Save dialogs. Honored with Macworld Magazine's Editors' Choice Award for Best System Enhancement Utility, Default Folder X makes Open and Save dialogs "work the way they should."
Default Folder X's custom keyboard shortcuts put your favorite and recent folders at your fingertips. Pop-up menus let you navigate your folders and open Finder windows. Previews, Spotlight comments and tags are there when you need them. Open, save, and get back to work: Default Folder X is workflow for the rest of us.
What's New: Default Folder X 4.3.2 is a free update that addresses compatibility issues with Snow Leopard. It includes a fix for problems with some network server disks, corrects its handling of options panels in the Save dialogs of applications like QuickTime Player and Adobe Fireworks, and solves a visual bug in which Default Folder X's icon occasionally appeared as a white box in the menubar.
For users of both Snow Leopard and Leopard, Default Folder X now remembers recent folders from the Recent Items in your Apple menu and is smarter about how it handles file servers. It is also fully compatible with Logic Pro and SharpShooter.
Pricing and Availability: Default Folder X 4.3.2 is a free update for existing version 4 users. It is $14.95 (USD) for users who bought licenses before June 1, 2007, and costs $34.95 for new users.
