Metropark Launches iPhone Shopping App

Metropark, a Los Angeles based specialty store that combines the core lifestyle elements of fashion, music and art is now available on your iPhone or iPod Touch. The Metropark iPhone shopping app, a free download from the iPhone App Store, showcases innovative new features, previously unavailable on competitor's iPhone apps.

The Metropark iPhone app sets itself apart by offering a robust shopping experience. Most competitor apps limit the amount of items displayed through browsing, offering an incomplete mobile experience. Metropark has a cohesive experience - the inventory available on the Metropark iPhone app is the same full assortment featured on the Metropark online store.

Metropark's product assortment features an unmatched mix of contemporary and street fashion apparel and accessories, including premium denim, designer tops, bags and belts, jewelry, watches and gifts. Metropark features sought after brands like OBEY, Crash & Burn, Betsey Johnson, Affliction, Monarchy, and premium denim brands like True Religion, Rock and Republic, Frankie B, MEK and Rock Revival.


The Metropark app also allows you to narrow results by brand or item. Product pages feature multiple photo views at a flick, full descriptions and the ability to view the next or previous page with a tap. You have the ability to choose your size and add selected items to your bag, or decide later by adding items to your Wish List.

Metropark currently has the only app that offers full access to a lifestyle "look book" and brand video. The app also gives the user confidence in the security of the transaction by displaying an up-to-date security certificate.

In addition, the app automatically determines your current location using iPhone's built in GPS to notify you of the nearest Metropark store, so you can shop in person. There is a full store locator with directions, store hours and phone numbers. And if you happen to find an item in a store, but the store doesn't have your size, you can easily search for the item by name or product number and purchase it directly from your iPhone.
