Apple Fined $25,000 Per Day for Not Turning Over Documents in FTC vs Qualcomm Lawsuit

A judge has ordered Apple to pay $25,000 per day for not turning over documents in the FTC vs Qualcomm lawsuit, reports Bloomberg. The FTC is accusing Qualcomm of unfairly cutting out competitors by requiring Apple to use only its chips in exchange for lower licensing fees.

U.S. Magistrate Judge Nathanael Cousins in San Jose, California granted sanctions against Apple starting December 16th. The company has until December 29th to turn over the documents or face steeper fines.

Apple says it has already produced more than 2.6 million documents by the December 15th deadline and that any dispute Qualcomm wanted to raise was premature.

“We have already produced millions of documents for this case and are working hard to deliver the millions more which have been requested in an unprecedented time frame,” Apple spokesman Josh Rosenstock said. “We plan to appeal this ruling.”

Obviously they are hiding important documents on purpose. The agreement ended a year ago the court says .. They keep 100"s of billions to pay lawsuits and steal patents and avoid taxes to a lesser extent. And buy companys. They use new companies for their ideas , then put them out of business eventually after they file lawsuits to gain patents use. Pay to much no problem sue latter , and claim its fair use.

Is the Fanboy feeling but* hurt that his idol company is once again showing it's dishonest side. Apple is all about deception and dishonesty. Maybe Apple is throttling your iBrain to save on the battery.
