M6 Mac mini Pre-Orders Get First Discount at $879.99 [Deal]

Apple's new M6 Mac mini has picked up its first discount, with the 256GB model down to $879.99 from Apple's $899. The 512GB M6 is $1,069.99 and the M5 Pro is $1,669.99, each $29.01 off. All three ship on September 22, 2026.

The 24GB M6 configuration is $1,299, the same as Apple charges, so it is the one config not discounted.

Mac mini is Apple's smallest desktop, a five-inch square that sits under a monitor. The M6 has a 12-core CPU and 12-core GPU, with a Neural Accelerator in each GPU core and a dual 16-core Neural Engine that Apple rates at up to 4.8 times the AI performance of the previous chip. It supports up to 32GB of unified memory and 170GB/s of memory bandwidth.

Connections are three Thunderbolt 4 ports, HDMI and 2.5Gb Ethernet at the back, with two USB-C ports and a headphone jack at the front. It drives up to three external displays, and the Apple-designed N1 wireless chip handles Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6. The M5 Pro model steps up to a 15-core CPU and 16-core GPU.
