Apple Drops Price of BeatsX Earphones, Discontinues Colors

Apple has dropped the price of its BeatsX earphones and discontinued most colors, leaving only two. The earphones feature Apple's W1 chip as well as Fast Fuel, a 5-minute charge that gives you 2 hours of playback.

Previously, the Apple Store sold BeatsX earphones for $149.95 but that price has been reduced to $119.95. Additionally, the earphones are now available in just black and silver. All other colors including gold, white, space gray, and blue have been discontinued.

Despite the price reduction, it's still cheaper to purchase the headphones at other retailers like Amazon.
