Farting Boobs 1.0 Released

Nor Eagle has announced Farting Boobs 1.0 for iPhone and iPod touch, an application they claim will redefine the platform. "Revolution might be a strong word, but I think it fits" said T. Benjamin Larsen, Nor Eagle's CEO, creative-director and hand-model. "You're going to love this! We've spent a lot of time analyzing user patterns and App Store trends. We've successfully combined two of the most popular tasks in one single pleasant to use interface." Larsen continued.

When asked about the target-market for the app Larsen had this to say: "We believe this should be huge among the plethora of young gentlemen that have always dreamt of becoming boobfarters. It might not be a huge hit with the ladies though." He gave the following reason for this possible gender-divide: "I find that the female bosoms have always been more popular with the guys. I guess the fact that the ladies always have them at hand might make them seem mundane, and as we all know ladies don't fart..."

Confronted with the seemingly adolescent theme of the app, Larsen admits it is not to be taken seriously: "Honestly, the whole app is meant as a joke. We had just released Insulting Monk and it tanked completely. When looking through the entertainment category in the app store we got the feeling every other app was about boobs. And, if not, they were about farts. So, we figured the only sensible thing would be to combine them!" he laughed. "It's probably the most commercial title ever released on any platform."

Pricing and Availability:
Farting Boobs 1.0 is $0.99 (USD) and available worldwide exclusively through the App Store in the Entertainment category.

Seriously, the AppStore is a junkyard for stupidity. And by promoting such apps, iClarified is becoming such a junkyard too. Sad way to spend resources - not to mention I want back my 30secs spent on reading this "news".

I thought the exact same thing, but then realized that this app "developer" is trying to make your very point.
