Makeshift Games has announced Depict 1.1 for iPhone and iPod Touch. Depict is a free Pictionary-like drawing game that lets players compete with friends and strangers around the world. Version 1.1 brings in-app purchases, enhanced moderation controls, and improved stability.
Initially offered as a paid app, Depict is now free with in-app purchases. All of the features from version 1.0 are now free. Players looking to get more out of the game have the option to purchase two $0.99 add-ons: Custom Avatars and Lightning Round.
The Custom Avatars add-on unlocks an in-game avatar editor, which players use to draw their own faces, symbols, and short words for use in the game. Lightning Round is a frantic, guessing-only game type that leverages Depict's huge database of stored player drawings. Drawings are shown to players in rapid succession with one goal: Be the first to tap the correct word for each drawing to earn points.
Other new features in version 1.1: * Ignore player toggle * Sound on/off * Improved stability
Pricing and Availability: Depict 1.1 is a free app, available worldwide exclusively through the App Store in the Games category.
