How to Force Restart Your iPhone [Video]

These are instructions on how to force restart your iPhone. You may need to follow these steps if your iPhone has become unresponsive.

This tutorial applies to the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone X, iPhone XR, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max.



Step One
Press and release the Volume Up button then press and release the Volume Down button.




Step Two
Quickly press and hold down the Side button until the Apple logo appears.




Step Three
Your iPhone will now reboot.
