Body Painting 1.0 Released

GUERILLAPPS and VIMUA at the North American Body Painting Championship will demo Body Painting 1.0 for iPhone and iPod touch devices. Designed specifically to leverage the iPhone's unique capabilities and touch interface, Body Painting lets anyone transform their friends into fairy tale, sci-fi and other famous characters or even turn them into animals and other fantasy creatures - simply by following the work of some of the best body painters in the world. Surprise friends and turn them into gorgeous canvases.

Body Painting ships pre-loaded with cool original body painting artwork by renowned body painters. Aspiring artists can pick their favorite artwork from the Art Gallery and use the Camera to take photos of their friends. To get the perfect matching pose, the on-screen character silhouette will help to align photos into the right position. Using Body Painting's intuitive and friendly finger painting interface, users can then select colors, effects and props to create custom like appearances. And when done, easily share with friends and family on Facebook, upload to Flickr, or save the masterpiece to the Photos library.

To bring users the best body painting artwork, GUERILLAPPS and VIMUA have teamed up with the "World Body Painting Festival", the largest body painting event in the world. New and gorgeous artwork from renowned body painters are constantly being uploaded to the in-app Art Store. Users can browse, purchase and download it to their iPhone at any time. Body Painting's in-app Art Store currently has Fairy tale and Sci-Fi characters, Famous Characters, Pop Culture characters and cool abstract body painting as well.
