Romantic Vacation in Your Pocket

Apalon Studios has announced the release of iParadise 1.0, their amazing new iPhone game setting a totally new genre. iParadise allows users to enjoy the pristine beauty of a secluded getaway and blend with nature right from their home or office. The game is set on an exotic resort where players engage in various recreational activities and enjoy other attributes of a romantic vacation.

iParadise island offers everything from white sand beaches and relaxing hideaways to fine dining and night life. Users can explore the wonders of the ocean through snorkeling, fishing, or windsurfing, take a helicopter ride around the island, relax in spa or spend all day on the beach.

The game features dozens of relaxing sea-side scenes, some of which are animated, where players can interact with different objects. The scenery changes depending on the time of day. There are also two in-built mini games (diving and star gazing) educating users on the diverse marine fauna and constellations. Hidden surprises (both pleasant and disturbing) add to the overall fun or in some cases can end the game unexpectedly (e.g. one of the characters might be hit by a falling coconut).


Both player and his or her mate (works for gay couples, too) in the game have a number of parameters, indicating the degree to which they're enjoying the vacation. Each action or activity affects these parameters in a certain way. The goal is to raise some parameters, such as love, health, and impressions; and make sure some others like hunger or fatigue don't get too high. Players should keep an eye on their budget too, as the vacation will end once all money is spent. If the things are going really well the vacation may end up with a wedding!
