Eltima Software has announced that all Mac users with SyncMate are now able to sync different files between Android phone and Mac.
SyncMate Free Edition allows syncing Contacts and Calendars between Mac and Android (via Google account). Once you've synced this data between Mac and Google account, it will be automatically synchronized between your Google account and Android phone (if auto sync settings are enabled in your Google account). SyncMate Expert offers additional options and allows syncing music, videos, photos and folders and backing up Android phone data on a Mac.
Just connect your Android phone to your Mac in a flash drive mode, and you can sync your phone as if it was a common USB flash drive. Once you've plugged your phone in, SyncMate will detect it and finalize the connection. After that you can use iTunes & Video, iPhoto, Folders and Backup plugins - all of them at once or those ones you want to sync right now.
Note, if your Android device is not recognized as a flash drive, unfortunately, SyncMate won't be able to sync it with a Mac. Calendars and Contacts will be perfectly synced though, as there is no need to connect your phone in flash drive mode to sync these data.
Actually, SyncMate is a multitasker. With SyncMate you can also sync Mac with Windows Mobile devices, Nokia S40 phones, other Macs or PCs, Google account, Sony PSP, USB drives and back up Mac data at the special online storage that Eltima provides to SyncMate users. No need to purchase several sync solutions. Just one SyncMate is used for synchronization of all supported devices, even if they are synced all at once.
