CreativeBe has announced the release of Parachute 1.1, an update to its backup application for Mac OS X. The update extends this flexibility to security minded users by supporting backups with FTP over SSL. Plus its faster and harnesses the full power of modern 64-bit systems."
Features: * Local backups to external hard disks, USB flash drives, and network volumes * Remote backups to FTP, FTP/SSL, SFTP WebDAV and MobileMe's iDisk * Schedule automated backups in hourly, daily, weekly and monthly intervals * Incremental smart backups for large data
