Eternal Storms Software has announced the immediate availability of a substantial update for flickery, advancing it to version 1.9. flickery is a unique desktop flickr client for Mac OS X 10.5 which combines the flickr photo-community with the ease-of-use and elegance of Mac OS X.
With flickery, the user can easily upload photos and videos to your flickr photostream (featuring photo editing capabilities like resizing, flipping, cropping, rotating and applying filters as well as video-trimming options), organize items in photosets and groups, browse your favorites and add to them, check out gorgeous photos available in "Explore" and take a look at your contacts' photos, photosets or favorites. Search the entire flickr database for a particular shot. Browse all the Groups you have joined or Galleries you have created. flickery lets you do it all.
flickery 1.9 features better integration with iPhoto and Aperture by adding plugins for those applications. Now descriptions, keywords and locations are transmitted from Aperture or iPhoto to flickery for easy upload to flickr. The application also implements support for flickr Galleries, which let you create "sets" of other peoples' photos. It also sports a cleaner and refined UI.

For users that have already exceeded the 15-day trial period, this update adds seven more days to test the new version. Version 1.9 comes as a free update for existing customers.
