Ruler 1.0 Released for iPad and iPhone

Andrew Kazmierski has announced the release and immediate availability of Ruler 1.0, his new digital ruler for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices. Beautifully crafted, Ruler is designed for intuitive, natural usage. Despite a size disadvantage, Ruler mirrors the practicality and ease of a physical ruler. To accurately measure objects larger than your device, the app features a movable marker that snaps.

"My wife Alexa was cutting a Peruvian Torch cactus, and we didn't have a real ruler," commented Andrew. "We thought for sure our new iPad would offer a decent solution. We were wrong, so following the mescaline experience, we set out to carve our own Ruler." Andrew Kaz co-created Classics for iPhone in 2008. Classics peaked at #4 on the US charts and became the inspiration for Apple's recent revolution in digital reading, iBooks.
