I have an iPhone 3GS running iOS 4.0 with modem firmware 05.13.04. After jailbreaking with Limera1n, I tried to install ultrasn0w in Cydia but received a 'cannot comply' error stating a conflict with iOS Firmware >= 3.0. Since I am on iOS 4.0, how can I resolve this dependency error to finish the unlock?

The firmware dependency error in Cydia is usually caused by a corrupted or outdated repository cache that fails to properly recognize the current iOS version. To fix this, you need to manually refresh the source. Open Cydia, navigate to the Sources section, and delete the repo666.ultrasn0w.com repository. Once deleted, restart your iPhone. After the reboot, open Cydia again and add repo666.ultrasn0w.com back to your sources. This process forces Cydia to re-index the packages and correctly recognize your firmware version, which should allow you to install ultrasn0w without further issues.

This issue is often resolved by refreshing the repository sources.
1. Delete the ultrasn0w repo (repo666.ultrasn0w.com) from Cydia.
2. Restart your iPhone.
3. Add the ultrasn0w repo back to your sources list.
4. Attempt to install ultrasn0w again. This should clear the firmware dependency error.
