I have a iPhone 5 on 6.1.2 that is jailbroken using evasion. I want to use one of the IMEI unlock services to unlock my phone but I'm afraid the unlock process is going to ask me to restore my iphone using iTunes. Is there a way to IMEI unlock my phone without losing my jailbreak?

IMEI DOES require that you restore through iTunes for the unlock to take affect, so you WILL lose your jailbreak in the process. However, I believe that IMEI only supports up to iOS 6.1.2 (please correct me if wrong), meaning that you will not be updated after restoring- all you'd have to do is simply run Evas1on and re-jailbreak it. If you have a lot of sources and tweaks downloaded on cydia, be sure to either back them up via Cydia or make note of what you have for later. Hope this helps ya, bud!

For every AT&T customer that has trouble unlocking their phone, you can do it through attiphoneunlocking, it's the site I have been using for several phones already, they never disappoint me
