Is it safe to repeat the iPhone 4 jailbreak and unlocking procedure?

I recently followed a tutorial to jailbreak and unlock my GSM iPhone 4. The process seemed successful, but after activating a SIM on my new network, I am still not receiving any signal. Can I go through the tutorial steps again without causing damage to my phone? I used this guide: http://www.iclarified.com/29761/how-to-jailbreak-your-iphone-4-using-redsn0w-mac-613

Yes, it is safe to repeat the jailbreak process, but it is often more effective to perform a clean restore first. If you are not receiving a signal after the jailbreak, it may be because the unlock was not applied correctly or your baseband version is not supported by the software unlock you are using. To ensure the best results, connect your iPhone to a computer and restore it to factory settings using iTunes. Once restored, you can follow the jailbreak guide again from the beginning. Keep in mind that jailbreaking and unlocking are separate steps; jailbreaking provides system access, while a tool like UltraSn0w or a hardware unlock is required to use a different carrier. Also, verify that your new SIM card is fully active and check your APN settings to ensure they match your new provider's requirements.
