I am looking for information on how to jailbreak an iPod touch 4th generation running iOS 6.1.3. Is there an untethered jailbreak tool available for this firmware and how should I use it?

You can jailbreak the iPod touch 4th generation on iOS 6.1.3 using the p0sixspwn tool. This provides an untethered jailbreak, meaning your device will remain jailbroken even after a restart. Since the iPod touch 4G uses an A4 processor, it is also compatible with the limera1n bootrom exploit, which allows for a tethered jailbreak using redsn0w on any firmware version. If you have already used redsn0w for a tethered jailbreak, you can simply install the p0sixspwn untether package from Cydia to convert it to an untethered state. Please note that you may need to use an older version of iTunes on your computer for these legacy tools to communicate with your device properly.
