I am currently running iOS 6.0 on my iPhone 4. My previous version was 5.1 and I did not update to 5.1.1 before moving to iOS 6.0. I have the SHSH blobs for iOS 5.1 and would like to know if it is possible to downgrade my device.

Yes, it is possible to downgrade an iPhone 4 from iOS 6 to iOS 5.1 if you have the SHSH blobs for that specific version. Since the iPhone 4 uses an A4 chip, it is susceptible to a bootrom exploit that allows for downgrades to unsigned firmware versions. You will need to use a tool like Redsn0w or iFaith to stitch your saved SHSH blobs into a custom firmware (IPSW) file. After the custom firmware is created, put your device into Pwned DFU mode and use iTunes to restore the device to iOS 5.1.
