Once jailbroken can I delete Cydia and Mobile Terminal

I don't want these icons to show on my phone's springboard. I've done what I needed to do with the jailbreak. Can I delete the icons without undoing the jailbreak?

Terminal, yes, Ctdia, no. Only thing you can do with Cydia is hide the icon with a Cydia tweak.
