After jailbreaking an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, is the Cydia app icon always visible on the home screen?

Yes, once you have successfully jailbroken your device, the Cydia icon will appear on your home screen just like any other application. It will remain visible as long as the device is in a jailbroken state. However, you can hide the icon using specific jailbreak tweaks or by moving it into a folder. If you restore your device or update to a new version of iOS that removes the jailbreak, the Cydia icon will disappear.
