Jailbreaking ipad mini ios 8.1

Want to jailbreak ipad mini ios 8.1 using pangu 1.2.1. It worked until after jailbreaking the ipad got stuck in the apple logo and then disappear. Tried turning on the power but same thing happens (apple logo appear and disappear). Have to do a restore which brings me back to the original ios 8.1. Pls help as to how to resolve this.

Same thing happened to me. May sound crazy but this is what i did and it worked great.. hold the home button while you insert the cable while its attached to your macbook, keep holding till the connect to itunes logos show up. then do a restore to ios 8.1. if you still wanna jailbreak after you did all that, setup your phone as new before you jailbreak and you can restore your backup afterwards. good luck
