Keyboard and App Icons Always Visible in Screen Background

On my iPhone 6, there appears to be a faint keyboard and other app images permanently visible in the background, even when all applications are closed. These ghost images are visible to the naked eye but do not show up in screenshots. I have tried reducing transparency in settings, but it did not help. Is this a common issue?

This issue is likely caused by image retention or screen burn-in on your iPhone display. Because the ghosting does not appear in screenshots, it is a physical hardware issue with the LCD panel rather than a software bug. Screenshots capture the image data generated by the operating system, whereas burn-in is a physical degradation of the screen pixels or layers. You can try leaving the screen off for an extended period to see if the persistence fades. If the keyboard remains permanently visible, the display assembly will likely need to be replaced to resolve the problem.
